Desperados

Reading Time: 2 minutes

desperado is a desperate or reckless person, especially a bold criminal or outlaw. The term is most commonly associated with dangerous characters from the American Old West who were pushed by desperation to commit violent acts. That word now describes the government and political system of the United States of America. In this and subsequent articles I will address the desperados directly.

Rational Versus Irrational Empires

If responsible leaders of an empire want to protect the well-being of citizens, it is to their credit. Citizens depend on the world’s domestic and international economies and they contribute to the Empire. Rational leaders operate accordingly.

By this standard, you are irrational. You act as if everyone but you is expendable. In reality, the end of empire is not your calamity alone. It affects all of us. You are trying to come out on top with a worldview that is not even real. This is the behavior of desperados.

The Example of Cain

Consider the story of Cain. In the book of Genesis, Cain killed his brother Abel in a fit of jealous rage. Banishment was the punishment for murder in those days, and Cain’s punishment for spilling his brother’s blood was to be sent away by himself. The spilling of another’s blood on the ground was an offense against the land, and such a person could not remain among his people. It would put them all in danger. But who exactly sent Cain away?

Cain Was Not Banished by a Race or Class of People. He Was Banished By God.

Some of you think God was unfair when he chose Abel’s sacrifice over Cain’s. So, because you sympathize with Cain’s state of mind, you excuse his crime. It has come to the point that you identify as a race or even a nationality in competition with the descendents of Abel. This too is madness. The Bible says it was God who banished Cain, not a race or class of people. You might be able to defeat entire groups of people, but you are no match for God.
